There are two basic ways to connect your Biscotti to your HDTV. Please carefully review each method to determine which bests suits your needs.
1. Overlay Live TV
Used for those that use an HDMI cable from a satellite or cable set-top box to your HDTV’s input.
a. Unplug the HDMI cable from your HDTV that comes from your satellite or cable set-top box. Plug this directly into the Biscotti HDMI In port.
b. Take the included HDMI cable and plug it into the HDMI Out port on the back of the Biscotti.
c. Take the other end of the included HDMI cable and plug it into your TV where your satellite or cable set-top box was previously connected.
*This is the preferred method to connect Biscotti as it allows you to make and receive calls while watching TV. No need to swap inputs.
2. Direct Input Connection
Used for those that receive your TV content from an over-the-air antenna or video source that does not utilize a HDMI connection.
a. Using the provided HDMI cable, connect one end into the HDMI Out port on Biscotti.
b. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable into an open HDMI port on your HDTV. Be sure to make a note of which port you are plugged into.
c. Using the TV’s remote control, locate the “source” or “input” button. The name of the button and location may vary by manufacturer. Refer to your HDTV manual if you have trouble locating this.
